Hello Again 😊 Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. I hope the following helps you understand what this blog (and mini movement) is about and why I felt I had to give the Cheap Girl a platform that shares ideas, inspiration and of course really cheap alternatives to some of the things we enjoy in our lives.
Who is the CHEAP GIRL?
The cheap girl is anyone and everyone (boy or girl or in between) that loves life, and is always optimistic about the world, its people and things. The cheap girl is someone who lives life as best as they can, honestly, kindly, humanely, open mindedly and curiously. An individual who stands for something bigger than themselves. Someone who is not imprisoned by the worlds ridiculous standards and thinking of what success, wealth, health, beauty and intelligence looks like. The cheap girl is by all definitions a Queen (and King).
In a world where social media has literally taken over our lives, we are often bombarded by images and ideology of “better”. The lifestyle sold to us is one that’s beyond most South Africans means. The cheap girl knows all that glitters is not always gold and is not pressured by society’s expectations. The cheap girl loves looking good, smelling good and living a life of purpose and fulfillment.
From this cheap girl to the rest, this blog wants to serve as a place where we don’t have to break the bank to live well. We find alternatives in every sector that are affordable and helpful. From tips on getting your favorite looks for less to eating out on a budget, to taking a vacay for really low prices, to businesses that are Cheap Girls personified (or business-fied in this case LOL).
Lastly, I have to thank each and every person who read my first post. I honestly cannot relay in words how much that means to me! The support and love have been overwhelming. I hope you guys enjoy this journey with me and learn a trick or two about being a Cheap Girl (or guy)

As diverse as your topics of discussion stretch, you've made your Vision Clear, it's Sound & Structured with Realistic destinations your average "Joe" & plain "Jane" can relate to and achieve, whilst at the Same Time reminding All that "Limitations" can be figments of our imagination!
